Footprint Tools Canada Limited was established in 1980 to warehouse and market the products of Footprint Tools Limited, a British hand tool manufacturer in Sheffield England.
Over the next few years, Footprint Tools Canada expanded to become exclusive distributors, and sales representatives for other non-conflicting hand tool companies. This arrangement enabled Footprint Tools to market an extensive range of hand tools to their Canadian customer base.
Just recently we changed our company name to Footprint Products Limited which more accurately reflects the growing breadth of our product lines and proprietary brands.
We currently have such exclusive arrangements with Footprint Sheffield Limited, Empire Level Mfg., Milwaukee Tool Corp, Affinity Tool Works, Snap-On Industrial Brands, Mag Instrument, Komelon USA, Smith’s, Lock Alarm, Palram Applications, FlowerHouse, Heaven & Earth, Kay Home Products, and Taipan Canada.
Today from our warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario, and a sales force of fourteen sales and service representatives, we market our product lines coast to coast to every major retailer and distributor in Canada.
Footprint Products Limited is very dominant in the retail consumer market, with the highest market share in Canada on some of its product categories.
Footprint product lines are sold as private label, and/or as a national brand to customers such as Canadian Tire, Sears Canada, Home Hardware, Home Depot, Chalifour Canada, Rona, Costco, Lowes Canada, Wal-Mart Canada only to name a few.
In addition to the Retail Hardware market, Footprint Products Limited is also very active in the Industrial, Contractor, and Rental markets. We have established a very large customer base of contractor supply outlets, industrial distributors, and retailers coast to coast.
Footprint Products Limited takes great pride in their dedication in offering outstanding customer service and quality products. Our sales representatives rank at the very top within the industry, and many have over twenty- five years of sales experience in the hardware industry.
